Print Design – Parks Canada “Pylon Project”
Parks Canada had commissioned a number of “pylon” structures that were to be placed all across the country, at the more prominent national parks (NP), national historic sites (NHS) and national marine conservation areas (NMCA) – a “pylon” being a vertical, three-sided, wooden, prism structure on metal posts.
Each side of the structure displayed a different panel I designed, featuring a significant national park or national historic site, promoting a facet of the Parks Canada visitor experience. The panel designs were so well received that they became a series of standalone promotional posters, and resized for use as a number of print ads and other communication pieces.
